Cooper was an SD-6 field agent sent on a mission with Marcus and Sydney to find a Rambaldi artifact.
Season 2[]
Cooper, Novak, Sydney, and Marcus were sent to Siberia to find the Music Box, an artifact of Milo Ramdaldi. While Sydney found the box and recorded the tune, Marcus realized that there were hostiles in the area.
Due to the cold wind and strong blizzards, Novak and Cooper didn't spot anything unusual in the area. However, Marcus continued to warn his partners that there was a hostile(s) in the area. Cooper took out his binoculars to see if the intruder might've been a sniper or was far away, just as Marcus said the hostile was right on top of him. Cooper was shot multiple times from someone (presumably Sark) hiding underneath the ice.
